Why these answers can be trusted
The all out rule
A side bowled out inside its quota is charged the full quota of overs for net run rate. Most public calculators skip this, which is why their answers drift from the official points table the moment a match ends in a collapse.
Overs are not decimals
12.4 overs means twelve overs and four balls, which is 12.667 in decimal. Every rate here converts to balls before dividing, because getting this wrong shifts a season figure by enough to change a placing.
Not outs are not dismissals
A batting average divides by dismissals, not innings. A batter who has never been dismissed has no average at all, which is why a scorecard prints a dash.
Rules vary by competition
Over rate penalties, bonus points and tie breaks differ between competitions more than people expect. Each tool states which rule set it applied rather than presenting one competition's regulations as universal.
