. . .-100 . . . . . div , , p . , . , After a long gap of almost two months, Pakistan will be seen back in action in international cricket. The green team was last seen locking horns against the mighty Aussies in a memorable tour. This time, it would be the iconic stadium of Multan which will play host to an enthralling cricketing action between Pakistan and West Indies, two of the most exciting teams of the international arena. Both the teams are packed with extremely talented cricketers who are known to change the face of the game in a while. While the green team encapsulates stars like Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Afridi, the maroon jersey will be represented by names like Nicholas Pooran, Shai Hope and Alzarri Joseph. West Indies might be missing some regulars from this tour, but in no way whatsoever can Pakistan afford to take them lightly particularly in Multan which is likely to dish out exciting batting surfaces. Traditionally, it is the West Indies who have had an upper hand against Pakistan. Both teams have played a total of 134 50-over games against each other with West Indies winning 71, while the men in green came out victorious on 60 instances. 3 of those contests were tied. It must be added that lately the picture is turning into Pakistanrsquos favor and this will be another opportunity for hosts to better their record. Apart from the three departments of the game, both units will have to battle the scorching heat of the city of the saints. To mitigate the weather extremities, the games are scheduled to start a little late. It must be noted that these three matches were initially slated to be played in December 2021, but the outbreak of COVID-19 suspended cricketing activities across the globe.
