Lahore, Karachi to host Pakistan-England T20Is

. . .-100 . . . . . div , , p . , . , In the recent development, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja has clarified that Lahore and Karachi are the decided venues for the upcoming T20I series against England. Initially, Multan and Rawalpindi were in the mix, but a tight schedule means that the cricket action will be limited to the two biggest cities of the country. While the pitches in both Karachi and Lahore have been relaid, they are expected to be already for this cricketing action encapsulating a total of 7 T20I games. To assess the security arrangements for this tour, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will send a three-member security team, which is expected to arrive later this month in Pakistan. If all goes well, this would be Englands first tour to Pakistan in 16 years. Importantly, the kind of white-ball cricket both these teams are playing and the resources they have amongst their ranks ensures that fans are set to witness a plethora of enthralling cricket action. Apart from the T20Is against England, Pakistan is set to play a lot of other T20I cricket. What this means is that the boys in green will have ample T20 cricket before they land in Australia to participate in the much awaited T20 World Cup.
