Babar Azam continues to dominate batting records
. . .-100 . . . . . div , , p . , . , Pakistan star Babar Azam shattering batting records has become a frequent phenomenon in international cricket. Recently, the batting genius has claimed the record of staying on the top of T20I rankings for the most number of days, edging past former Indian skipper Virat Kohlis record of 1013 days. It is not wrong to say that he has scaled new heights of consistency in the shortest format of the game, something which is really hard to achieve. Currently, the superstar cricketer has 818 rating points in T20I batting rankings and continues to sit on T20I batting throne, followed by his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan and South Africas Aiden Markram on second and third positions respectively. The Lahore born has featured in a total of 74 T20Is so far having scored 2686 runs at 45.52. Managing an impressive strike-rate of 129.44, he has also mustered 26 half-centuries and 1 century in this format of the game. He continues to lead the green team from front and sits famished to do more of the same for the green team. With Pakistan lined up to play a lot of T20I cricket leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, it would be interesting to see how the 27-year old fares in the forthcoming games.
